WAEC has announced the release of the second set of 2024 WASSCE results for private candidates.
This second WASSCE results batch released by WAEC includes 12452 examination candidates who participated in the first examination series during the year.
The West African Examinations Council records indicate that male and female candidates amounted to 5,269 and 7,998 people who took part in the examination, respectively.

To this effect, the council confirmed that 738 private candidates failed to attend the examination. All candidates affected by the examination can view their results through WAEC’s official online portal as long as they present their necessary examination details.
As a matter of fact, the process of releasing the test results encountered various obstacles despite its completion. Moreover, the examination authorities at WAEC identified various instances of examination misconduct during their monitoring process.

The subject results of 34 candidates face further investigation, while 43 candidates had all their results entirely withheld until the inquiries are resolved.
In effect, the examination board, WAEC, warned all candidates and members of the public about the fraudulent activities affecting the results of the examinations.
Moreover, the council warned students to watch out for fake individuals offering to enhance their WASSCE Results by charging fees through mobile money systems.
The official website of WAEC serves as the only authentic platform to verify all examination results since the board strongly warns against falling prey to these scams.
They also added that the examination integrity focus of WAEC remains strong because it keeps reminding candidates to treat their results with authenticity. And that the education body continues to provide accurate, transparent examination results for the future while maintaining its commitment to support candidates in their success and improvement process.
