Ghanaian star Mona Montrage, also known as Hajia 4Real, will start her prison sentence on August 1st, 2024.
Hajia 4Real, who is also an actress and singer, was found guilty of romance fraud and money laundering. She was involved in a scam targeting older American men.
She was purportedly a member of a ring that used romance scams to trick elderly American men.
On June 28, 2024, following a trial that lasted more than a year, Hajia 4Real was given a sentence of one year and one day in prison.
Hajia 4Real has already completed part of her sentence, thus her lawyer estimates that she will complete the remaining portion in January 2025.
As Hajia 4Real starts her sentence, controversial actress turned blogger Afia Schwarzenegger is making fun of her.
She claims that Mona’s life ended in humiliation as a result of her avaricious deception of seniors out of their hard-earned money.
