Eddie Howe adamant of keeping Anthony Gordon at Newcastle
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has debunked news of the club willing to sell Anthony Gordon to Liverpool. According to the Howe, Anthony Gordon is a very crucial player to them and Newcastle as a club wouldn’t want to sell their best players.
Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move away from the St. James Park with Liverpool in the fray to sign the former Everton player. Gordon was part of the team that represented England at the just ended Euros where they lost to the eventual winners Spain in the finals.
Eddie Howe: “Anthony Gordon is crucial a player for us, we didn’t want to lose anybody”.
“Why would we want to lose our best players? We fought really hard to make the right decisions. In those last few weeks it was very, very difficult. But it will be ok with Gordon”.
