The Internet fell in love with a young Ghanaian barber when he revealed his painful love story, which split online viewers between sympathy and disagreement.
The man became emotional in his viral video while talking about his extensive love for a woman who left him while apparently stealing his iPhone 12 Pro Max.
He supported her emotionally while giving her GH₵150 per week for an entire year while maintaining her comfort level to the best of his abilities. Meanwhile, throughout their relationship, he received no gift except a single piece of clothing.
He declared in the video that he had provided complete support for her. He received only emotional pain coupled with the loss of his iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Due to feeling betrayed, he took his case to Obra on Nhyira FM, where they address relationship issues. According to him, she sold off the phone to another person, after which she invested the money received. He wants to get his phone back.
The customer currently wants either the purchased device or reimbursement, thus creating another stressful financial dilemma for the man.
The woman adamantly refuses to have the phone in her possession. The lady told him they had a dating relationship, yet she dismissed the incident by stating, “Dating is just a game.”

The casual remark of the woman provoked powerful feelings across both radio show listeners and social media users. Listeners disagreed about how much the barber should have shared before he met his romantic downfall. Some endorsed his openness, but others suggested he should have protected himself earlier.
As a matter of fact, people on the internet have shown both feelings of empathy and total shock regarding this situation.
To that effect, a social media user commented, “Eiii, some of us are dating trees ooo,” following another user who wrote, “No weapon — handsome boys are really going through it.”
The barber’s story about love’s impact on him has reached many internet users who now doubt whether love functions as a game or not despite his experiences.
