Chelsea’s commitment to building a bright future continues with the signing of more young talents. The Blues have secured deals for two more young players from Sporting CP. After securing deals for young players like Estêvão Willian who is the first Brazilian to reach 30 career Goals and assists before turning 18 since Neymar in 2010, Their new deal involves Dario Essugo and Geovany Quenda from Sporting.
Dario Essugo, born in 2005 signed until June 2032 plus option until June 2033. Sporting will receive €22m from Chelsea. Essugo will join in summer 2025.
Chelsea have also signed Geovany Quenda (2006) from Sporting. The Portuguese signed a contract valid for the next 7 years with an option to extend for one more year. Quenda will join the squad in summer 2026.
