In an interview with KJM on Prime Morning, Ghanaian musical artist Cina Soul revealed her struggle in the early days of her music career. She shared how the journey has been so far, even after she became popular.
She shared on Joy Prime that funding her projects in the early days was difficult, as it takes money to bring on board models. Cina Soul shared that she had to use her friends and cousins in her music videos because she could not afford models.
“I was even looking at my old music video and remembered how it was hard to find models. It was my friends and cousins in the video because I couldn’t afford to hire anyone.”
Despite these situations, the Ghanaian artist, who signed with Universal a few years ago, recognized that she has made significant improvements but is still far from where she wants to be.
“I’m still not where I want to be, but I won’t say I’m at the same place. I appreciate the journey so far.”
