Stonebwoy’s management team has engaged in public discussions with popular disc jockey DJ Lord about allegations concerning Shatta Wale’s song restrictions at the Guinness Accravaganza concert.
Stonebwoy’s manager, Chief Stylz, posted on social media to deny DJ Lord’s allegation that the manager had ordered the playback halt of Shatta Wale’s songs at the Guinness Accravaganza event on April 1, 2025.
Through his X (formerly Twitter) post, Chief Stylz branded the accusations as “fabricated” while challenging how DJ Lord presented the situation.
DJ Lord had obtained confirmation about the conversation with the event organiser who stated Stonebwoy’s team would not tolerate Shatta Wale’s tracks being played, according to Chief Stylz in his tweet.
Meanwhile, DJ Lord rejected all allegations of fabricating the story by insisting that his recount was true to fact. The event organizer presented the message to DJ Lord, which communicated Stonebwoy’s team’s opposition to playing Shatta Wale’s music.
“During my entire career in this business I have maintained perfect conduct, which makes it impossible for me to invent stories. A representative from Guinness delivered to us the exact words from her phone that ‘Stonebwoy’s team did not feel comfortable playing Shatta Wale’s entire song list,” DJ Lord explained.

An audio recording on the internet showed Chief Stylz and DJ Lord arguing during their confrontation. This audio captures Chief Stylz as he becomes frustrated with DJ Lord about the false information spread by the DJ through social media channels.
“You seem to have pre-planned intentions and full control of the situation. A proper person would not commit the actions you did since we never consulted any event planner,” Chief Stylz argued in the audio.
Meanwhile, DJ Lord denied the validity of the edited audio recording while voicing concerns about the unauthorised audio recording of his statements. “
“Recording without consent? Selective editing? Respectful communication requires different methods than what you used. I spoke openly in trust. The artist stated clearly that we should avoid distorting statements to fit specific stories.” he bemoaned.
