Various celebrities have shown strong support for Ghanaian musician Cina Soul after actor Big Akwes delivered harsh criticism about her dance video appearance on a live television broadcast.
The comments created anger among artists and social media influencers after attacking Cina Soul for the outfit she wore in her dance video.
On March 31, 2025, during the Max Morning Show broadcast, Akosua Takyiwaa criticised how Cina Soul looked in her album promotional video.
Takyiwaa expressed shock about Cina Soul’s outfit on social media before accusing it as the main reason for the musician’s clothing decisions.
To that effect, Big Akwes delivered a harsh evaluation when he appeared as a show guest. To him, the clothing choice Cina Soul made received a negative label from his perspective, branding it as “foolish” while he predicted it would damage her brand.
The actor proceeded to disgrace Cina Soul with a three-minute-long stream of offensive statements about her body. To that effect, many people considered these harsh words, along with public shaming, inappropriate toward Cina Soul because she was building her career as an influential musician in Ghana’s music scene.

As a matter of fact, the backlash Cina Soul received from the public has led to increased peer admiration because observers perceive her with greater respect and compassion.
