Enzo Maresca believes Fernandez meant harm with the posting of the racist video
Argentina’s Copa America triumph was overshadowed by alleged racism accusation after Enzo Fernandez posted a video on Instagram which contained words which some people believed was aimed at the Black players in the France National team.
Despite issuing out an apology, many believe that it was an intentional video made and posted by the South American champions. Fernandez on the other hand have had support from National teammates and club teammates as well with Alexis Mac Allister and Nicholas Jackson throwing their support behind him.
Speaking to the media concerning this issue, Coach Enzo Maresca believes there will be no problems and the things are clear now since Enzo Fernandez have apologized.
“I don’t think there will be problems with Enzo Fernandez when he returns. There were no bad intentions, I spoke with Enzo. It’s all clear now”.
“It’s all clarified by the player and the club, so that’s it”.
“Enzo has apologised, there’s no problem at all”. Enzo Maresca said.
Chelsea are currently in the United States of America preparing for their Pre-season and the English Premier League.
