The Asantehene Otumfuor Osei Tutu II graced his subjects with the majestic Adowa Dance upon his arrival in Kumasi yesterday.
After traveling overseas for more than a month, Otumfuor Osei Tutu II returned to Ghana on Wednesday, April 23. The king of the Asante Kingdom captivated the audience at the Prempeh I International Airport in Kumasi with the traditional Adowa dance amid a thunderous greeting.
The Asantehene proved he was the heir apparent to the well-known traditional dance in a video that went viral on social media.

In response to the cordial welcome, the Otumfuo used hand and foot signals to express his profound gratitude and feelings.
At cultural events including festivals, weddings, engagements, and celebrations, the Adowa dance is performed.
